Skysport News: Rangers, Philippe Clement was finally given the go-ahead to sign Abdallah Sima in January.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement has had plenty of tests in his brief time in the Ibrox dugout so far, but the Belgian has undoubtedly passed those tests, with the boss unbeaten from his first five matches in charge.

He has picked up impressive victories against Hibernian, Hearts and Dundee in the Scottish Premiership, having also defeated Hearts in the Scottish League Cup.

A draw with Sparta Prague meanwhile in the Europa League means Gers fans have well and truly forgotten about former manager Michael Beale.

He struggled in various ways in the Ibrox hot seat, but the former boss does deserve some praise for bringing Abdallah Sima to the club.

The attacker arrived at Rangers in the summer transfer window on a season-long loan from Premier League club Brighton.

And he has immediately become a fan favourite in Scotland, with the forward finding the back of the net nine times in blue.
