Emmanuel Dennis, a forward from Nigeria, is expected to make an unexpected return to Watford, so Rangers will not be signing him this month.
Recently, several rumors regarding Rangers transfers have been disproved.
Kai Wagner, a left back for the Philadelphia Union, was a target for the Rangers, but he decided to sign a new deal with Major League Soccer.
Another left back was being considered; David Jurasek, a misfit for Benfica, was one of them; however, he has since signed with Hoffenheim of the Bundesliga.
Unless something unexpected happens, there seems to be another rumor to kill off, with forward Emmanuel Dennis apparently not going to Ibrox.
Emmanuel Dennis set for shock move after Rangers links
According to reports from earlier in January, Dennis, a Nigerian international, might be headed to Glasgow.
Dennis was an assistant to Gers manager Philippe Clement at Club Brugge, and rumors of a reunion circulated while Rangers looked to add offensive players.
Dennis shone in the 2021–22 Premier League season, scoring ten goals for Watford before moving to Nottingham Forest.
Dennis now finds himself on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey after that move really didn’t work out.
Due to injury issues, the 26-year-old has only made eight appearances, and it appears that his time in Istanbul is running out.

Dennis appears ready for an unexpected move, though, as he prepares to rejoin Watford rather than sign with Rangers.
