REAL DEAL: Rangers move quickly to sign Abdallah Sima on a permanent deal to avoid January transfer saga

Rangers will have the opportunity to right a wrong from last summer in January, and they must do all they can to make it happen.

Michael Beale was the man in charge when it came to getting transfers done last summer, and one that was allowed to slip through his fingers was that of Malik Tillman.

The American was fantastic during his loan spell from Bayern Munich with 12 goals and five assists, and did enough to convince the light Blues to trigger their option to make a deal permanent.

But he arguably did too well, with his performances convincing Bayern to in turn trigger their own buy-back option immediately meaning a return to Ibrox was ruled out.

He’s now at PSV Eindhoven struggling for game time with just six appearances this season, while Gers fans are enjoying the talents and skills of another loanee who was signed in his place – Abdallah Sima.

The 22-year-old Senegal winger has been sensational for the Ibrox club with nine goals and one assist in 19 appearances, meaning there is obviously talk of trying to make his move permanent.
