REAL DEAL: REPORTER CLAIMS LIVERPOOL ARE TO SIGNING 19-YEAR-OLD GOAL MACHINE THIS SUMMER…

Liverpool want Romeo Lavia and it would be a ‘big waste’ if the deal was to completely collapse after Southampton’s latest rejection.

Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia is wanted by Liverpool and the deal is being described as ’so close

That is according to Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri, who has been one of the top sources on the Lavia speculation this summer.

Tavolieri notes that Southampton have rejected Liverpool’s third bid of around £45million including add-ons for Lavia.

Tavolieri claims that Liverpool are ‘evaluating the situation’ now given that they already feel that they have made a big effort to sign him.

It’s stated that the feeling around the deal is that it would be a ‘big waste’ for Liverpool to walk away now.

Liverpool are allegedly ‘so close’ to doing a deal given that Lavia wants the move and personal terms are no problem.

Southampton are sticking to their £50million asking price for Lavia and Liverpool must now think about the next step.

Liverpool need to pay up if they want Romeo Lavia

This one is dragging on and on to the point where eLiverpool will seemingly start the new season without a defensive midfield signing.

The Reds weren’t expecting to be this desperate; they were probably comfortable bringing in a holding midfielder to compete with Fabinho.

However, Liverpool have now lost both Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, who have moved on to Saudi Arabia.

Liverpool suddenly don’t have a natural anchor man in midfield and the pursuit of Lavia is now very, very important.

The Belgian is still a kid, one who suffered relegation from the Premier League last season.

The potential is huge though and that’s why Southampton want £50million, clearly believing that he has world-class talent.

Liverpool have been increasing their bid again and again but still haven’t hit the price tag.

If the Reds want to make sure all of their groundwork doesn’t go to waste, they need to pay up and finally bring Lavia to Anfield.
