Sabres Announce Roster For Prospect Challenge

The Buffalo Sabres announced their roster for the 2023 Prospects Challenge at the LECOM Harborcenter starting on Friday.

The Sabres Challenge roster is 25 players, consisting of 15 forwards, eight defensemen, and two goaltenders, and will take on three teams in the six-team tournament (Boston, Montreal, Ottawa, New Jersey, and Pittsburgh).

Included on the Challenge roster are 2023 first-rounder Zach Benson, 2022 first-rounders Matthew Savoie and Jiri Kulich, 2021 first-rounder Isak Rosen, and 2019 first-rounder Ryan Johnson, as well as draftees Filip Cederqvist, Aleksandr Kisakov, Tyson Kozak, Ethan Miedema, Olivier Nadeau, Viktor Neuchev, Vsevolod Komarov, Mats Lindgren, Nikita Novikov, Norwin Panocha, and Scott Ratzlaff

The Sabres are also hosting a Fan Fest on Saturday outside the arena from 11 to 6:30 pm, which will include interaction with players, GM Kevyn Adams, and head coach Don Granato, and a series of events ranging from a dunk tank, and taking photos with the Sabres Hall of Fame banners.
