Jamie Shackleton was absent from the Leeds United vs. Leicester City match at Elland Road on Friday, November 3.
The midfielder/right-back was left out of the matchday squad owing to a gluteal injury, according to Leeds Live.
A football player could suffer a significant tear or strain of the gluteal muscles in the worst-case scenario.
This can cause substantial pain, loss of strength, and a potentially lengthy healing period, and it is unclear what Shackleton’s problem is.
Daniel Farke did not divulge his injury during the pre-match press conference, implying that it occurred recently.
He joins Djed Spence and Stuart Dallas on the injury list at Elland Road.

The 24-year-old started the 4-1 win against Huddersfield Town and was expected to be chosen to the starting XI against Leicester City as well.
It remains to be seen if he will be available for the following game against ,Plymouth Argyle but he appears to be.
He’ll be a good option at right-back for that one, and if he’s fit, he should be restored to the starting lineup.
