Nov. 6, 2018 (UPI): Among the injured players in Week 9 of the 2023 NFL season were wide receiver K.J. Osborn, tight end Dallas Goedert, and quarterback Daniel Jones.

Injured players from Sunday’s games will undergo additional evaluations to ascertain the severity of their injuries and possible recovery times.

Jones got one of the most devastating injuries of the week. The New York Giants quarterback received a non-contact injury to his right knee and left in the second quarter of a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Giants coach Brian Daboll did not provide an update on Jones at his postgame news conference. Sources tell ESPN, NFL Network, and The Athletic that the Giants worry Jones has a ruptured ACL, an injury that might terminate his season.

In relief of Jones against the Raiders, backup quarterback Tommy DeVito completed 15 of 20 throws for 175 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Matt Barkley, an experienced quarterback, is part of the Giants’ practice squad.

Due to injuries, Giants cornerback Adoree Jackson and offensive tackle Evan Neal both left the game early on Sunday.

Marcus Peters, a cornerback with the Raiders, left the game early due to a knee injury.

The Giants (2-7) and Dallas Cowboys (5-3) will play on Sunday in Arlington, Texas, at 4:25 p.m. EST. The New York Jets (4-3) will play the Raiders (4-5) on Sunday in Las Vegas at 8:20 p.m.

During the Philadelphia Eagles’ victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the third quarter, Goedert suffered a right forearm injury. He stayed away from the game.

Against the Cowboys, Goedert totaled three catches for fifty yards.

Goedert suffered a fracture to a bone inside his forearm, and sources told the NFL Network, ESPN, and Philadelphia Inquirer that he will likely miss time due to the injury.

Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean left the game early due to a foot injury he sustained during the win.

Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson, wide receiver Mack Hollins, and cornerback Dee Alford sustained ankle injuries and left the game early.

The Vikings (5-4) will host the New Orleans Saints (5-4) in Week 10. The Falcons (4-5) will battle the Arizona Cardinals (1-8).

Wide receiver Josh Downs aggravated a knee injury and left early during the Indianapolis Colts’ win over the Carolina Panthers. Panthers tight end Stephen Sullivan (shoulder), linebacker Brian Burns (concussion), and cornerback C.J. Henderson (concussion) also exited early.
