SAD NEWS: Leicester City Lose £31 Million Duo This year, January……..

The most recent speculations suggest that Leicester City may lose attacker Kelechi Iheanacho and midfielder Wilfred Ndidi when the January transfer market opens.

Ndidi was among the few stars who remained at the King Power Stadium following the team’s drop from the Premier League the previous year, but it looks like the Foxes may be losing the midfield player come wintertime.

Leicester City could lose their star player in the middle of the park for nothing in a few months as the 26-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign. Nonetheless, according to TeamTalk, Ndidi may receive bids in January from Brentford, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United.

Iheanacho, Ndidi’s fellow countryman, finds himself in the same predicament as the previous Premier League champions. The former Manchester City player is desired by several elite teams; during the summer, he was even rumored to be moving to Crystal Palace, but that deal never happened.

As star striker Ivan Toney could leave Brentford in January, Iheanacho is now a top-striker option for the Bees.

According to TeamTalk, Enzo Maresca, who’s the head coach of Leicester City, is eager to hang on to both players. The team has even started contract negotiations with the players, “but there has been no breakthrough” thus far.

Ndidi’s market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt to be £15.6 million, down from £21.6 million in the summer. Iheanacho’s value is reportedly the same, making the combined value of the two players £31.2 million.
