Sad news:Tennis star Naomi Osaka says she and rapper Cordae are no longer in a relationship

Tennis star Naomi Osaka has revealed that she and rapper Cordae have ended their relationship. The couple, who began dating in 2019, had been admired for their public displays of support for each other over the years. Their relationship also gained attention after the birth of their daughter, Shai, in July 2023. Osaka shared the news of their split through her Instagram Stories, confirming that they have decided to part ways amicably.

Osaka emphasized that there is no bad blood between them and praised Cordae as a great person and father. She added that the separation was mutual and focused on the importance of maintaining a healthy co-parenting relationship for the sake of their daughter. Despite the split, Osaka expressed gratitude for the time they spent together and the growth they experienced both personally and as a couple.

The announcement comes at a significant time for Osaka, who is also making a comeback to professional tennis after a 15-month hiatus. During this period, she focused on her mental health and welcomed her daughter into the world. Her return to the sport has been met with excitement and optimism, especially as she reached the finals of the ASB Classic in Auckland earlier this year.

However, Osaka’s comeback has not been without challenges. She was forced to withdraw from the final match of the ASB Classic due to an abdominal injury. This setback raised concerns about her readiness for the upcoming Australian Open, a tournament she has previously won twice.

Despite the hurdles, Osaka remains determined to regain her top form and continue competing at the highest level. Her openness about mental health and personal struggles has made her a role model, and her transparency about her breakup reflects the same level of honesty.

Cordae, a Grammy-nominated rapper, has yet to publicly address the breakup. Known for his supportive role during Osaka’s career and personal challenges, he previously spoke highly of her resilience and achievements.

Osaka’s fans have shown overwhelming support for her during this transitional period. Many admire her courage in navigating personal and professional challenges while staying focused on her goals.

As she prepares for her next chapter, both on and off the court, Osaka’s story continues to inspire millions. Her journey highlights the importance of resilience, self-care, and embracing change while balancing personal growth and professional ambitions.
