After just five games in charge, Salernitana fired Fabio Liverani and are about to name Stefano Colantuono as their fourth coach of the year.
The team is abysmal in the Serie A standings and most likely headed for relegation.

After taking over, Pippo Inzaghi managed three wins, four ties, and eleven defeats in 18 Serie A and Coppa Italia games.
After being hired on February 11th, Liverani had the lowest average of the three, managing just one draw against Udinese’s 10-man team and four losses.
Salernitana let up twelve goals and managed just three goals in his time.
Since Inzaghi is still under contract, there were rumors that he will be brought back, but Sportitalia, Tuttomercatoweb, and Sky Sport Italia
Prior to joining Colantuono, he was a Serie A coach with Catania, Perugia, Atalanta, Palermo, Torino, and Udinese.
From December 2017 to December 2018, and again from October 2021 to February 2022, he served as Salernitana’s head coach.
This season, there are nine rounds remaining, and the Seahorses are already 11 points outside of safety.
