NEWS UPDATE:Sean Reid-Foley of the Mets has reportedly returned after biceps suffering.

A potential bullpen addition for the Mets, Sean Reid-Foley gave up runs to all three batters he faced during the team’s 5-1 split-squad defeat to the Marlins in Jupiter, Florida. The right-hander was making his first Grapefruit League appearance since March 9 and had previously struggled with biceps soreness. Twenty-three pitches later, he was out.

Edwin Diaz, who had previously appeared in the Grapefruit League and walked two hitters, shut out the Nationals in the sixth inning of the Mets’ 10-1 victory at Clover Park.
