Emmanuel Dennis, a forward for Nottingham Forest, is getting close to making a surprise comeback to English football.
The 26-year-old was supposed to play on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey for the duration of the season. But it appears that his loan will be terminated and that he will soon be moving.
Dennis will join Watford on loan for the second half of the season, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. According to reports, the attacker has “agreed to take a 70% pay cut” in order to rejoin his previous team.

There is rumored to be no provision in the agreement for a permanent switch. With a medical appointment reportedly scheduled for today (Tuesday), the relocation could be completed quickly.
Dennis joined the Reds in the summer of 2022 after leaving the Hornets, but he hasn’t exactly had a big impact at the City Ground. Last season, he played in 25 games for the Garibaldi, 16 of which were as substitutes, and he scored two goals.
