Sky news: Ohio State unveils CFP championship celebration details for fans

Ohio State has announced its national championship celebration on Sunday is to begin at Ohio Stadium at noon.

 

Admission for the event, which is to recognize the Buckeyes for winning the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff this week, is free.

The gates to the Horseshoe open at 10:30 a.m. Parking is also free and first-come, first-serve in surface lots around the stadium, as well as St. John Arena and the Schottenstein Center. The lots open at 8 a.m.

 

Athletic director Ross Bjork will emcee the celebration, which is scheduled to last until 1 p.m. The speakers include Gov. Mike DeWine, Mayor Andrew Ginther and university president Ted Carter, plus Buckeyes coach Ryan Day and select players.
