DEC 17: TWO ACTIONS In preparation for their encounter with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys have promoted defensive tackle Carl Davis and running back Malik Davis from the practice squad.
The D-line change was anticipated; veteran Carl Davis will make his Cowboys debut while Jonathan Hankins (ankle) is sidelined.
Rico Dowdle is also recovering from an ankle injury, so Malik Davis is starting to play more of the ground game on this wet and windy day in Buffalo.
One of the eight finalists for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, which was announced on Thursday, is quarterback Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys. The award, which was first presented in 2014 and is named for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ founder, honors sportsmanship on the field.
