Then, less than 12 hours later, The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Jovan Buha released a well-researched report claiming that Ham is “struggling” to establish a connection with the locker room through his rotation and starting lineup decisions. It’s impressive that they cite six different team sources. The majority of articles of this type just state “multiple” or “one team source.” However, according to six different Lakers team members, Ham has effectively lost the locker room, which is terrible news on January 4.
