League insider Chris Mannix says the Heat are anticipated to pursue a trade hard before the deadline in February. The Raptors’ Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby are two forwards on the list of possible targets.
Mannix wrote, “I would expect [the Miami Heat] to be aggressive.” “Perhaps a Pascal Siakam is intended. It could indicate an original Anunoby. I don’t think they would think twice about signing that player because, if they were Miami, they could re-sign those guys.
The Miami Heat were the best team in basketball just a few months ago, having upset everyone to get to the NBA Finals. But it’s safe to say that Miami’s overall talent and potential declined after losing a number of important role players and failing to replace them with any proven veterans. However, they still have enough assets to move and still have the chance to surprise everyone with a massive blockbuster trade.
Miami’s Top Trade Targets
