Jimmy isn’t getting any younger, and the Heat’s chances of winning with this core are dwindling daily.
Miami made a huge blunder when they failed to acquire Damian Lillard in the offseason because of this. But the Heat might have another chance to sign a superstar a few months later. Though it’s not a given, mounting data points to Donovan Mitchell likely being dealt at some point in the near future. It might even occur as soon as The NBA Trade Deadline for this year.
