Leeds United chiefs Gretar Steinsson and Nick Hammond left Elland Road shortly before Ilia Gruev did as they completed the Bulgarian’s move, according to LUFCFANZONE.
Glen Kamara is the primary name expected to still arrive before the deadline but his long-awaited move appears set to go right down to the wire since the members of the hierarchy are not ready to receive him at the ground.
Kamara is reportedly due for a Whites medical on Thursday [Fabrizio Romano, 31 August] after weeks of a deal worth around £5million being on the cards, but the final steps still wait.

It always felt like Leeds United were going to end up working late into the window considering how late their business got under way, and so it appears it will be.

Most supporters would still like to see a left-back but it appears that if one is going to arrive it isn’t going to be until Friday.
Kamara should end the widespread pursuit of midfielders which has been fairly dramatic, especially with regards to the likes of Ao Tanaka and Nadiem Amiri, but it seems it’s going to be the late, late show for the Ibrox man.
