The latest Leicester City news as the midfielder has scored five goals and provided five assists in the first 11 games of the season as City sit at the top of the table

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall insists he is “just getting started” despite a record-breaking start to the Championship season with Leicester City.

City have recorded 10 wins from their opening 11 league games of the season so far under Enzo Maresca. The only blot on their record coming in a 1-0 loss against Hull City at the start of last month.

Their goal difference means that the start is the best that has ever been made in the Championship. They currently sit at the top of the table, two points clear of Ipswich in second and 10 points clear of third-placed Preston North End.

But he is expecting more when domestic football returns after the current international break. City asked on social media “Who’s ready for some more KDH this season?” And the 25-year-old replied with: “We just getting started” along with a chef emoji.

Dewsbury-Hall has started all but one of City’s Championship games so far this season. He scored a brace in the 3-0 win over Preston, his second two-goal haul of the season after scoring twice in the opening day win over Coventry City.

Discussions with Maresca over the last international break saw Dewsbury-Hall’s output increase in the games following the break. After the game against Preston, the City boss revealed what the midfielder had improved.
