The club president finally accepted Nottingham Forest’s £22 million summer bid for a Juventus defender.

The Reds made an offer of around £22 million for the player as they sought to bolster their rearguard.

After some excellent performances, Allegri decided to keep him there.

Since Brice Samba from Nottingham Forest joined Les Sang et Ors, Leca’s playing time has been reduced.

The former Ajaccio goalkeeper has been with Lens for less time than he did for Nottingham Forest, but he still has a lot of influence in the dressing room and is regarded as one of the team’s leaders off the field. Leca frequently takes on the position of mentor for the team’s younger members. The seasoned stopper has previously piqued Lorient’s interest.
