Nigel Spackman has urged Rangers to let Graeme Souness have free rein for what he wants to do at the club and it will help propel them back to the top of Scottish football.
Spackman spent three years at Rangers after being signed by Souness and has worked alongside him in TV over recent years and he’s confident his old boss would be a huge help to the Ibrox side if they can get him back on board. Souness helped the Rangers board select their new manager by being part of the interviewing team and Philippe Clement has already spoken about the conversations he had with Souness at that time.
And the Rangers legend has previously admitted he would consider returning to the club in a capacity away from the dugout with James Bisgrove also confirming he would be keen to work alongside him in a role that benefits both Souness and the club. And Spackman believes that he should be given the opportunity to do whatever he wants because it would help bring everything to do with the side back to the level it should be.
