The success of the teams this season has already been significantly impacted by draft additions made during the off-seasons of 2022 and 2023.
Nonetheless, a wide receiver from the Cincinnati Bengals could still be on the Packers’ roster as a super star.
The Packers would be lucky to acquire Tee Higgins as their first-choice wide receiver.
Throughout his NFL career, Higgins has been Cincinnati’s No. 2 behind Ja’Marr Chase, but it doesn’t seem likely that the Bengals can afford to offer him a big contract.
After his heroics on Saturday that enabled the Bengals to force overtime against the Minnesota Vikings, the 24-year-old’s price may have gone up a little.
With Chase sidelined due to injury on Saturday and in the upcoming weeks, Higgins’ performance may cede his title as the best pass-catcher available to free agents.
While there are a few good young wide receivers for the Packers, none of them have yet to emerge as stars.
