A new report makes it clear the Los Angeles Lakers should consider trading for Zach LaVine this offseason.
With Los Angeles hoping to rebound from a first-round loss, the rumour mill is swirling with Lakers talk. The decision to fire Darvin Ham is a blatant sign that LA will make the necessary adjustments to get back into the race.
Rob Pelinka has another obvious target available, and a major addition to the roster looks to be in the works.
The Chicago Bulls “will attempt” to trade guard Zach LaVine this offseason, according to Evan Sidery of Forbes. Nevertheless, Sidery points out that LaVine’s market is “severely limited” and Chicago “might have to attach an asset to get off LaVine at this rate.”
The Lakers should be excited about this news for a number of reasons. The most evident is that LaVine is a dangerous scoring threat on the wings who, when paired with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, may elevate Los Angeles’ offence and add a distinctive offensive weapon.
