It looks like the Los Angeles Lakers are going to repeat their 2021 campaign.

The Lakers have thought about making a trade before the deadline to acquire veteran center Andre Drummond of the Chicago Bulls, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin on Tuesday. The Lakers think Drummond might meet a specific need in a potential playoff game against the Denver Nuggets and their big front line, McMenamin continues.

Drummond, who is still only thirty years old, has somewhat restored his value in Chicago, where he consistently starts off the bench and averages 7.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. However, he is still prone to moments of shoddy defense and low-IQ play, which contributed to his initial fall from the Lakers’ favor.

Drummond once acknowledged that it was particularly difficult to play for the Lakers. However, the.500 Lakers may end up giving the 6-foot-11 Drummond another look because they need more size than just Anthony Davis.
