the Los Angeles Lakers and the Hawks will finally come to an agreement over the trade of Dejounte Murray Tonight,
Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers will travel to Atlanta to play the Hawks, and they will have the exceptional chance to witness a potential trade target up close. Since the Lakers appear to be the only team that could make a trade for Dejounte Murray at the deadline, Los Angeles has been linked to the player for weeks.
Murray’s trade seems unlikely, even though the Lakers are the team most likely to do so. Lakers supporters need to change course and think about other possible trade targets at the deadline because head coach Quin Snyder is putting pressure on them to keep Murray on the team.
Murray plays for the same team as one of those other possible targets. Murray may not be available, but the Lakers can
The Lakers and Hawks should try to trade Bogdan Bogdanovic.
Murray may choose to remain in Atlanta, but the Hawks are expected to be sellers at the deadline. Atlanta can shift a lot of pieces in their quest to start over with Trae Young on the field and in the books.
Without a doubt, Bogdanovic is valuable on the trade market, and the Minnesota Timberwolves are reportedly already interested in him. Though they should consider all trade offers, Atlanta won’t be as eager to get his contract off the books as they would be with Clint Capela or De’Andre Hunter.
The Lakers would receive a fantastic scoring guard who can either start or come into the backcourt.
Bogdanovic might as well be a cheap Zach LaVine in Los Angeles, albeit one that is also offered at a reduced cost. The Lakers, who already have LeBron James and Anthony Davis, clearly need another scoring guard to complement them. That would come from Bogdanovic.
What the Lakers should send for Bogdanovic is the real question. Los Angeles could most likely complete the trade for a younger player and one or two second-round draft picks. Enough with Rui Hachimura and one or two second-round selections. Although Darvin Ham hardly ever plays Hachimura as is, Lakers fans are opposed to trading him.
It’s likely that Atlanta will want to moveD ‘Angelo Russell to a third team and that Gabe Vincent is no longer an option. Maybe Taurean Prince could be packaged by the Lakers.
