Apparently, Lakers are “monitoring” Jazz Veteran Prior to Trade Closing

With their run to the Western Conference Finals the previous season and their strong offseason maneuvers, the Los Angeles Lakers were anticipated to be a serious contender for the NBA title this year.
Although Sexton lacks the potential to be a game-changing player like Zach LaVine or Dejounte Murray, he could still be able to help this struggling Lakers team by adding some fresh energy and strength to Los Angeles’ backcourt in the second half of the season.
Sexton shot 37.1% from beyond the arc and 48.9% from the field in 42 games this season, averaging 16.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game.
