The Miami Heat have finally received an offer to approve a buyout from P.J. Tucker..

Los Angeles Clippers veteran P.J. Tucker will remain on the roster for the remainder of the season, according to Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes
P.J. Tucker, a forward hoping for a bigger role and a change of scenery at the trade deadline, was not satisfied with the Los Angeles Clippers’ offers.

Tucker is reportedly going to stick with the Clippers for the remainder of the season rather than asking for a buyout.

“After trade attempts failed, league sources tell @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport that Los Angeles Clippers forward PJ Tucker will not request a buyout and will remain with team the duration of the season,” Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes tweeted.

This season, Tucker has made 12 appearances for the Clippers. In his little role, he is averaging 1.2 points in 14.4 minutes. He has a strong leadership influence and inspires the team to give it their all.
Tucker was a member of the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, so he has experience contributing to teams that are capable of winning championships. In their run for an NBA championship, the Bucks forward averaged 4.3 points and 4.8 rebounds. In his later years, he has led each team as an experienced player.

Although it is admirable that he wants to win, his contract probably scared off many other contenders. Tucker’s contract is worth approximately $22.5 million, and he has two years left on it.
