The updated appearance Superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings is being linked to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is now the top name circulating trade rumors.
Although Jefferson is about to reach the last year of his rookie contract, he hasn’t formally demanded a trade. Additionally, ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed only last week that Jefferson turned down a contract worth more than $30 million a year before the previous campaign.
In free agency, Minnesota also lost quarterback Kirk Cousins, a four-time Pro Bowler, to the Atlanta Falcons. This has increased conjecture that, in the absence of a standout quarterback, Jefferson would not want to commit to Minnesota in the long run.
The Steelers have discussed a “potential trade for” Jefferson with the Vikings, according to Antonio Brown’s CTESPN source.
