The New York Mets have finally announced possible blockbuster trade moves for their left-handed pitcher.

After a difficult start to the season, the New York Mets have recovered, winning a series against the Cincinnati Reds and now playing Atlanta Braves on Thursday afternoon with a chance to win yet another series.

Although it doesn’t appear like Queens will host a World Series this year, the Mets can still establish their brand and, at the absolute least, identify individuals who they think can help them win a title in 2025.

Prospects for the club include Mark Vientos, who will begin the season in Triple-A, and Ronny Mauricio, who had an ACL injury in the offseason.

According to a projected blockbuster deal concept from Bleacher Report, the Miami Marlins would acquire left-handed pitcher Jesus Luzardo in exchange for Mauricio or Vientos.

According to Bleacher Report, Luzardo would be a great addition to New York’s team.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea if they moved one of these prospects.

Vientos doesn’t appear to be getting many opportunities to demonstrate his ability to play regularly at the major league level at this time. The Mets’ acquisition of JD Martinez served as the best predictor of Vientos’ future.

Although Luzardo just finished his finest season to date, throwing 178 2/3 innings with a 3.58 ERA, it was only his second year in the major leagues.
