For the past two weeks, trade rumors have been mentioning Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson a lot, which makes sense.
One is that Justin Jefferson, who has been eligible for an extension since last year, and the Vikings have not yet come to an agreement on a new contract. JJ may not be as eager to sign with Minnesota again now that the Vikings lost Pro Bowl quarterback Kirk Cousins to the Atlanta Falcons in free agency.
It makes sense to deal the best wide receiver in the league to the highest bidder if the Vikings decide to launch a comprehensive rebuild. There are only a limited number of viable landing sites for Jefferson, even though 31 other clubs would love to move for him.
Among those groups? The New York Giants, with their draft money and incentives, could try to move for Jefferson.
