Haiden Deegan has won the first moto of the AMA Pro Motocross in Hangtown. Deegan came back to the front from outside the top five and managed to close a gap of more than ten seconds on the leaders. Deegan passed Chance Hymas and Levi Kitchen and won the heat.
Joey Savatgy retired in fifth place with mechanical problems.
