It is very much looking like new players will be arriving late in the window for Wolves.
Seemingly the club are still trying to make some sales in order to be in a position to fund some incomings.
And this plan has now seemingly caused Wolves to miss out on a player.
Apparently a deal is now in place between the two clubs.
The Daily Mail have also reported on the story, saying that there are only a few details that need to be finalised. A deal was apparently agreed on Sunday.
Interestingly, they also mention that Wolves had held an interest in the 19-year-old, as did Bournemouth.
Chermiti is set to become the third signing of the summer at Goodison Park after Ashley Young and Arnaut Danjuma.
Portuguese outlet ZeroZero are claiming that the agreement is around £13 million.
Frustration for Wolves – but Fabio Silva looks like he could be good to go
Seemingly Wolves were never really in a position to sign Chermiti.
It seems like there was only interest from the club and no official approaches or bids were made.
But this is probably not too much of a blow for Wanderers.
Wolves already have a young striker in their ranks in Fabio Silva, who has looked lively in pre-season since he came back into the squad.
Wolves also have Sasa Kalajdzic and Matheus Cunha who can operate as centre-forwards. As can Hwang Hee-chan.
That said, it will be interesting to see how he gets in with Everton, who like Wolves really struggled to score goals last season.
