BBC News: Daniel Farke frustrated as superstar set major injury boost ahead of Hull City game..

Leeds United midfielder Ethan Ampadu has taken to social media to strongly indicate he will be playing tonight as the Whites take on Hull City.

Being back in the Championship this season is bringing about a hectic league schedule which has started to kick into gear this week with three games in six days.

After seeing off Millwall with a comprehensive 3-0 win, up next is another away trip in the shape of Hull City

Will Ethan Ampadu be fit?

Ethan Ampadu was in the wars at the New Den on Sunday as he battled to quell the physicality of the home side throughout, coming away with a deserved clean sheet.

He took a hefty knock late in the game to which he jogged it off, but was still feeling the effects of it after the final whistle went, and Daniel Farke revealed on Tuesday in his pre-match press conference that he was carrying a minor knock in the aftermath of the game:

“Yes, he got a knock. There’s always a few question marks when there is a quick turnaround. Every game there is bruises, knocks. It doesn’t look too bad – it has improved a lot over the last 24 horus. He’s Welsh, so he’s a tough guy. He will be alright – let’s see how it develops over the next 24 hours.”

What’s the latest?

Fans will no doubt be worried about Ampadu’s availability for another crucial away game this week, but the Wales international has calmed nerves with a social media update on his Instagram story.

He has posted the standard matchday montage that has come before every appearance so far this season.

Ampadu being absent for any game this season is a major blow, and perhaps Farke is minded to keep him on the bench for starters tonight.

With Archie Gray, Glen Kamara, and Ilia Gruev, we are in a position where we shouldn’t be relying on certain players too much.

However, if he is raring to go, then there is no question about it that he is the first name on the team sheet.
