Jurgen Klopp approves the transfer of a midfielder, according to the Liverpool transfer roundup.

Liverpool are yet to make any signings so far this summer but Jurgen Klopp’s side appear to be edging ever closer to their first potential arrival of the window

Liverpool seem to have a mixed relationship with the transfer window that could continue this summer much to the frustration of the Anfield faithful.

While Jurgen Klopp and his team of scouts rarely sign a flop, the Reds boss has been accused of not making enough signings in recent years, particularly in midfield. Though there are plenty of reports suggesting Liverpool do now have a midfielder in their sights, the blow of missing out on Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid is still being felt.

There is precious little time to think about missed targets however, with the summer window less than a week old and already throwing up some huge deals for big-name figures across all of the major leagues.

With that in mind, here are some of the main transfer talking points emerging out of Anfield on Tuesday, June 20.

Liverpool are keen to lure Netherlands international Ryan Gravenberch away from Bayern Munich this summer amid reports the player is open to an exit from the Bundesliga giants.

Gravenberch joined Bayern in a £21million switch from Ajax last summer, but endured a frustrating debut season that saw him start just five of the 32 appearances he made across all competitions.

Klopp is thought to be the one driving the transfer, as Liverpool aim to beat rivals Manchester United to the talented midfielder’s signature.

Gravenberch himself has not said one way or the other what he hopes to do before the window closes, as he told De Telegraaf: “It may be that there are plans with me.

“I haven’t really talked to the coach about that yet, that will come after the [Under-21] European Championship when I’m back from Georgia and Romania. Then we will see how it

The Italian international has long been the subject of interest from the Reds, but speculation has increased in recent weeks after reports claimed Juventus were looking to cash in on the 25-year-old.

Liverpool are in communication with two unnamed clubs over the potential departure of Polish winger Mateusz Musialowski.

The 19-year-old wide-man has failed to make a senior competitive appearance for the Reds since his arrival in 2020 from SMS Lodz, but has trained with the first-team on a number of occasions.

Polish outlet WP SportoweFakty have claimed he could return to his home country before his contract expires this time next year.
