just now: Nuno Espirito Santo has agreed to take over at Nottingham Forest after Steve Cooper’s sack over a single victory in 13 games.

After just one victory in his previous 13 games, Steve Cooper is set to be fired at Nottingham Forest. Nuno Espirito Santo is a strong candidate to take his place.

On November 25, Mail Sport disclosed that Cooper was facing extreme pressure following Forest’s 3-2 home loss to Brighton. He was also on the verge of being benched following Forest’s 5-0 loss to Fulham on December 6 and last weekend’s 2-0 home loss to Tottenham.

The team is five points above the relegation zone, and Evangelos Marinakis, the owner of Forest, is eager to name a replacement in time for Saturday’s matchup with Bournemouth should Cooper depart.
