Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly decided the future of one of their star players, ahead of the next season.
Even though there have been names linked with a move to Chiefs, the club is also set to release some.
Players like Siyethemba Sithebe and Sifiso Hlanti have been mentioned, with their deals up soon. They have been joined by Happy Mashiane and Zitha Kwinika of late. One player that has been fighting those exit rumours at Chiefs is Njabulo Ngcobo. The signings of Given Msimango and Thatoayane Dithlokwe only made matters worse for him. It now remains to be seen if the player will remain at the club. A fellow centre-back who saw his future also cast in doubt is Edmilson Dove.
Dove has been on of the most consistent players at Chiefs, since joining the club on a free last season. The versatile defender has starred both at centre back and left-back for Amakhosi over the past season and a half. Last season, he and fellow new signing Zitha Kwinika seemed to be the preferred centre back pairing at the club.
