Because of this, SNY’s announcers have gone viral numerous times, as the Mets faithful have grown accustomed to watching Gary Cohen flick his pen and jump up from his chair in excitement
last Sunday. And during Thursday’s walk-off, well it was only Cohen who showed enthusiasm. That’s not to say Hernandez and Ron Darling weren’t among the faithful excited by the big moment, but the two baseball lifers were more focused on filling out their scorecards.
