Crysencio Summerville was named the best player in the Championship by Ross McCormack after Leeds United defeated Norwich City 3-2 on Saturday.
Daniel Farke’s men battled back from a 2-0 halftime deficit at Carrow Road to win all three points and move up to third in the division.
After Shane Duffy’s own goal, Summerville scored in the 77th and 85th minutes for the Yorkshire giants against Farke’s former club.
Leeds posted a video of Summerville following the game on Instagram, prompting BBC Radio Leeds pundit McCormack to comment: “Fed up telling yous.” “Best player in the league.”
You have to hand it to Victor Orta because, despite signing flop after flop at Elland Road and making some poor managerial decisions, he still managed to bring in players like Summerville.
The Whites paid only £1.3 million to recruit the Dutch winger from Feyenoord in 2020 after he impressed while on loan at ADO Den Haag, where he was managed by Alan Pardew.
He’s waited his turn at Leeds, where he’s performed admirably for the Under-21s, as a first-team replacement, and as a starter.
